Privacy policy

This is a starting point, not legal advice. Have it reviewed before launch, particularly if you take enquiries from California, Colorado, or the EU.

What we collect

  • Waitlist: your name, email, phone number, and puppy preferences.
  • Applications: the answers you give on the application form, including household details, veterinary contact, and references.
  • Deposits: if you pay a deposit, our payment processor handles your card details. We never see or store your card number.
  • Server logs: ordinary technical records including IP address, used to keep the site running and to limit spam.

Why we collect it

To decide whether one of our puppies is a good match for your home, to contact you about litters you asked to hear about, and to keep in touch for the life of the dog. Nothing else.

What we do not do

We do not sell your details, rent them, or share them with other breeders or advertisers. We do not use your information for advertising and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.

Who else processes your data

We use a small number of services to run this site: a hosting provider, a database provider, an email delivery service, and a payment processor. Each only receives what it needs to do its job.

How long we keep it

Waitlist entries until you ask to come off. Applications for as long as they are relevant, and indefinitely for people we place a puppy with, because we stay in contact for the dog’s life.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Every waitlist email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can always just reply and ask. Contact us and we will action it.

Cookies

This site sets a cookie only for the breeder’s own admin login. Visitors browsing the public site are not tracked. If you press play on the puppy cam, YouTube may set its own cookies under its policy.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
